Updating the Romanian mortality table

Currently we have the WHO mortality for Romania in the Danube 0.9A model.

Is this really the best available data?

Does the Romanian statistical office provide better data?

Dear folks,

I have updated the Danube A 0.9 model with the Romanian mortality data (WHO data), we used in our Workshop in Timisoara (5.-8. April 2006).

The mortality table was transformed to an exponential function due to the queer data reported for Romania. You have to look at transition probability "p16".

Please check, whether everything is OK !

For comparison; attached are the mortality fitting curves for Germany and Romania
